We are pleased to invite you to apply to take part in the unique Jammertest from September 15th - 19th 2025. 

For the fourth consecutive year The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Norwegian Communications Authority, Norwegian Defense Research Establishment, Norwegian Metrology Service, Norwegian Space Agency and Testnor will be organizing Jammertest on Andøya, Norway. The event takes place from Monday, September 15th to Friday, September 19th om Andøya, Norway.


Due to a high demand, there will be an application process, and  selected participants will be invited to attend. The partners of the Jammertest  reserve the right to select participants based on Norwegian national interest and needs. Please note that this application pertains to the entire organization and is not individual. This means each organization only need to submit one application. However, you must specify who will participate from your organization. 

 

Participant fee

This year, we are introducing a participant fee to help us reinvest in the event. The funds collected will be used to purchase new equipment and update the content, ensuring a high-quality experience for all attendees. This initiative is part of our commitment to continuously improve and innovate, and we appreciate your understanding and support.

The participant fee is 1000 EUR per participant, while for academia, the fee is 100 EUR. 

Please prepare the necessary information for the registration: 

  • Basic info about your company/organization (postal address, emergency contact, invoicing address, invoicing email, VAT-number/organization number.
  • A list of individuals (name/company/job title) you wish to bring to Jammertest
  • The type of GNSS application is of main interest (timing, maritime, aviation, automotive, surveying, military, manufacturer). 
  • Your preferred interference signal modulation.

Before reaching out to the organizers, please take a moment to review the answers to some of the most common questions we receive. 

 General Information 

Q: How do I sign up for Jammertest 2025? 
A: Applications for Jammertest 2025 will open February 17th. Due to a high demand to attend Jammertest there will be an application process where selected participants will be invited to attend the event. Describe your test needs as detailed as possible.

Q: When and where will Jammertest 2025 take place? 
A: Jammertest 2025 will be held from September 15th to 19th (Week 38) in Bleik Village, approximately a 10-minute drive from Andenes Airport and Andenes town. The basecamp will be at the Bleik Community House, which provides necessary infrastructure and storage facilities. 

Q: What are the key deadlines? 
A: The most important dates are: 

  • March 15th: Final deadline for participation registration 
  • April 11th: Invitations and application results announced 
  • Other information meetings: Will be announced to the confirmed attendees at jammertest.no 

Travel & Logistics 

Q: How do I get to Bleik? 
A: The nearest airport is Andøya Airport (ANX), with daily connecting flights to Tromsø (TOS), Evenes (EVE), and Bodø (BOO). Please note that flight capacity is limited. 

Q: Can I rent a car in Andenes? 
A: Yes, but due to limited availability, we recommend booking as early as possible. Rental companies operating in Andenes include Avis and Hertz. 

Q: How do I bring and store my equipment? 
A: Storage facilities are available near the test site. For assistance with storage, shipping, or other logistics, contact erik@testnor.com after receiving your invitation to attend.

Participation & Costs 

Q: What does it cost to participate? 
A: This year, we are introducing a participant fee to help us reinvest in the event. The funds collected will be used to purchase new equipment and update the content, ensuring a high-quality experience for all attendees. This initiative is part of our commitment to continuously improve and innovate, and we appreciate your understanding and support.

We understand that financial constraints can sometimes be a barrier to participation. If your company is interested in attending the conference but is concerned about the costs, please reach out to us. We may be able to offer support to cover some of the expenses.

Q: What accommodations are available? 
A: The organizers have pre-booked hotels and cabins in Andøya. These will be available for booking once invitations are sent on April 11th. Confirmed attendees will receive further details via the event website. 

Testing & Safety 

Q: How will the tests be conducted? 
A: There will be four test locations: 

  1. Site 1: Basecamp – used for high-power tests and advanced spoofing tests.
  2. Site 2: Open for low-power tests and drone testing. 
  3. Site 3: Designated for driving tests. 
  4. Site 4: A military airport accessible only by special invitation. 

A detailed test schedule will be shared with confirmed participants. Attendance at daily briefings and wearing high-visibility clothing is mandatory. Participants must bring their own high-visibility gear, displaying their company logo.
